Avril Organic Tea Tree Oil

Avril Organic Tea Tree Oil is essential oil is derived and steam distilled from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree, commonly known as the Tea Tree.  Tea Tree Oil is a powerful, antiseptic immune system stimulant that is beneficial for eliminating bacteria, viruses, and fungi.  It can be used in cosmetics, aromatherapy, and in household cleaning supplies. It can facilitate the healing of wounds, provide soothing relief for aches, pains, and congestion, promote a sense of calm, and disinfect surfaces.

 

【Skincare】

1. Soothing of Acne

Tea tree oil penetrates into the skin to clear the pores, shrinks whiteheads, blackheads, and acne. It also sterilizes the pores, allowing inflammation to be fully controlled. Pour one or two drops of tea tree oil on a cotton swab or cotton pad, and gently pat on the acne. Wait for a few hours or let it stay on the acne overnight. The redness and swelling of the skin will basically be relieved. It is important to note that pure tea tree oil must be applied to clean skin without water for the best results.

If the skin is dry with a number of red pox marks, try mixing tea tree oil with organic honey. Honey also contains antibacterial properties, which can accelerate the disappearance of red acne marks on the skin, and the moisturizing effect is also significant.

2. Dandruff

Add a few drops of tea tree oil on shampoo.  Then wash your hair by gently massaging the shampoo on your scalp.

3. Athlete's foot

Add 1 drop of tea tree oil to a pot of hot water and soak the feet for 10 minutes. After the feet are dry, apply tea tree oil onto the affected area.

4. Fungal Nail Infection

For fungal infection in the nail seams, try to soothe by applying 1-2 drops of tea tree oil on the affected area.

5. Wounds

Tea tree oil can help stop bleeding and is highly permeable. Applying 1-2 drops of tea tree oil onto the affected area can promote wound healing and prevent bacterial infection.

6. Mosquito / Insect bites

Apply 1-2 drops of tea tree oil onto the affected area, but do not rub it!

7. Burns

For minor scalds, apply 1-2 drops of tea tree oil onto the affected area, after patching with ice or cold water, to help reduce inflammation.

 

【Soothing Symptoms of Sickness】

1. Nasal congestion, bronchitis, respiratory problems

Prepare a bowl of boiling water, add a few drops of tea tree oil, close your eyes and maintain a distance of 30cm from the water.  Inhale the vapor with your nose for at least 5 minutes.

2. Soar Throat

Add 1 drop of tea tee oil into a cup of warm water. Mouth wash for 5-6 times a day.

3. Cough

Add 1-2 drop of tea tee oil into a cup of warm water. Mouth wash with it.

4. Gingivitis, toothache

Add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil to a cup of warm water and rinse your mouth. Or dip tea tree oil with a cotton swab and apply directly to the affected area to relieve discomfort.

5. Fever

When bathing, add 5 drops of tea tree oil into the hot water.  Soak for at leat 10 minutes.  After bathing, immediately rest on bed.

6. Gout

Add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil in hot water, soak your feet for 10 minutes.  Dry your feet and apply tea tree oil on the affected area.

7. Muscle Soreness

When taking a bath, add 5 drops of tea tree oil in hot water and soak for at least 10 minutes. After bathing, apply tea tree oil on the sore area.

 

【Household Hygiene】

1. Air Purification

Diffuse a few drops of tea tree oil in the room for 5-10 minutes to purify bacteria, viruses and mosquitoes in the air.

2. Eliminate Odor & Sterilization

Add 2 drops of tea tree oil to 100 ml of water, shake well to mix thoroughly, and then spray it on the place with odor.

3. Household Cleaning

Add 3 drops of tea tree oil in water.  Use it to wash the cleaning towel and dish rack, mop the floor, clean the desktop etc. It will help kill the gems and remove dirts.

4. Clothes Washing

When washing the clothes and bed linen, add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil to remove dirt, odor and mold.  It will leave you with a pleasant smell.

 

Points to Note

  • In most cases, an appropriate dose of tea tree oil is very safe and has no side effects, but some of it may cause allergic reactions such as itching, tingling, and redness under high concentration or sensitive skin.  It may cause dizziness and even swelling of the throat. Therefore, it is recommended to apply a very small amount onto skin for the first time usage and wait for 24 hours to confirm that there are no adverse or allergic reactions.
  • Do not ingest tea tree oil, which may be hazardous.
  • Avoid using tea tree oil which has been opened for long or oxidized.  It may cause skin allergic reactions.  (Suggested finishing the bottle within a year after purchase / opening.)
  • Avoid contacting tea tree oil on eyes, nose, contact lens or sensitive skin.
  • Avoid using on infants, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and people with liver / kidney illness.
